We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with Bobbie Jo Novicke of Listen2YourArt to offer Birthdays Parties at Create Space! Bobbie will be hosting and teaching these parties herself! www.listen2yourart-school.com
If you've never met her, Bobbie is going to add so much to our creative offerings and here's a little more info about her (in her own words): "I’ve always found joy in learning. But it wasn’t until I started teaching that I realized just how much I enjoyed sharing my skills and knowledge with students of all ages and backgrounds. I am a Certified Art Teacher and I teach full time. I am also a “Teacher of the Year-2021/2022” at Royal ISD. I enjoy sharing my love of art. I’m also a wife, mother and lover of animals!"

Create Space hosts Birthday Parties for ages 4 – Teen on Saturdays from 1pm-3pm or 4pm-6pm; Sundays from 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm. Party crafts take 1-1.5 hours, and your party will have access to the studio for up to 2 hours. You can bring drinks, cake and presents ... along with any decorations you’d like. You can arrive 20 minutes before the party to decorate, otherwise just show up at the birthday celebration start time and we’ll take care of the rest!
Birthday party price: $350 for 12 guests. $25 each additional guests up to 15. (Ceramics will have an up-charge)

● Guests arrive and all parents/guardians MUST sign a Release Waiver Form before your child participates.
● Parents/guardians of the birthday girl/boy should always remain in the studio during the art project.
● Guests will receive an apron and find a seat at a table.

● Upon completion, a group photo will be taken.
● Staff clean-up from art project. The cake and food can be setup on the tables.
● Birthday celebration, eating and presents. Table clean-up by parents. Noise makers of any kind are not allowed.

Birthday party price for Canvas Painting: $350 for 12 guests. $25 each additional guests up to 15
PARTY OR GROUP ACTIVITY Policy:
Booking & Payments: Party/ Group Booking & Contract Form must be submitted online and a non-refundable deposit of $50 paid by the person having the get together (or parent/guardian) at least 2 weeks prior to the party. The art project must be decided at this time. The final payment if required least 24 hours PRIOR to the start of your party along with payment for any additional guests.
Cancellation: Should something happen where you need to cancel your party we ask that you notify us as soon as possible. Your $50 deposit is not refundable. Once your final payment is made, the party is not cancelable.
Party Rates - DIY Party: Prices are per selected project per person plus a $50 deposit/admin fee. NOTE there is NO MINIMUM for the number of guests. Ceramic projects prices are $10-20 per person. *All guests in group must paint the same ceramic piece. Acrylic Painting is $30 per person. Tell us the number in your party when you book and pay the $50 deposit/room fee. You will be billed for the balance will be due 24 hours prior to event.
Party Rates - Hosted Party: Acrylic Canvas Painting is $350.00 for a 2-hour party for 12 guests including the birthday boy/girl. *The party rate is for 12 guests or less. This rate is non-negotiable regardless of the number of guests able to attend on the day of the party. This includes the use of the space, all art materials, a teacher who will lead the activities and provide the pre-party setup and post-party cleanup for the art activity (only). Each additional guest costs $25 (maximum 15 guests) or $25 Payment for additional guests should be made when your final payment is made or before the party begins.
Arrival: Upon arrival the parents/guardians of ALL children attending a Hosted Party must sign the Party Release/Waiver form before the child can participate in the event. DIY Parties, no children shall be left unattended.
Additional Time: Parties are for 2 hours and client agrees to pay $15 for each additional 10 minutes that the party runs over the 2 hour limit.
Food Provisions: You must provide all food and drinks (including birthday cake/ cupcakes), and if desired, decorations. For Birthday Parties we recommend pizza, chips, juice boxes/waters, and cake (no ice cream cakes please). Time is limited and extra foods may cause an overtime fee. You must also provide paper plates, cups, forks, spoons, and napkins.
Clean-up: While we do clean-up after the art project, YOU must clean-up after the food and gift portion of your party!
Guest Release Waiver: all guests attending the party must have their parents/guardians sign this form before leaving their child at the studio and before the party begins.
Parents/Guardians: Parents of the of the birthday girl/boy are requested to stay the duration of the event. Other parents/guardians are welcome to stay and assist their younger children with the art project portion of the party.
Safety Guidelines: Parents/guardians of party guests will be contacted for early dismissal of children who are not acting appropriately and/or safely at Create Space.
Dismissal: All guests must be picked up promptly at the culmination of the party to avoid additional charges for going over the 2 hour limit. ($15/every 10 minutes).
Release of liability: It is understood and agreed that all parents/guardians will abide by the Create Space Party and/or Event Policies set forth herein and further that they will assume responsibility for any and all hazards and liability of any kind or nature including without limitation, food allergies on behalf of their child and all of the guests participating in the party and hereby waive, release and hold harmless Create Space CTX, its affiliates and employees, other participants, and sponsoring agencies from and against any and all claims, injuries, liabilities or damages arising out of or related to participation in the Party or Other Event at Create Space CTX. The terms shall serve as release and assumption of risk and is binding to their heirs, executor and administrator and all their family and guests.
Consent: Create Space staff takes pictures, slides, and videos of participants in the various activities for use in the marketing and promotion of our programs. Unless the front desk is notified in writing, all parents/guardians grant permission to Create Space to use the pictures, slides, and videos of their child(ren) for this stated purpose.
911 Policy: In all cases and circumstances, Create Space will call 911 and the staff will abide by and follow all EMS/911 instructions during a medical emergency concerning the above mentioned guest. The Parent/Guardian will be notified by Create Space staff at the earliest opportunity.
